Oregon men’s basketball to play exhibition games in Canada

The Oregon men’s basketball team announced they will go to Canada this month for a series of exhibition games in August.

Oregon Ducks men’s basketball head coach Dana Altman has always managed to get the top talent out of our neighbors to the north of Canada. Now the Ducks are heading there this month for a few exhibition games.

“We’ve always had a strong connection to Canada and are excited to go play in front of those fans,” said Altman. “It also gives Ethan (Butler), Keeshawn (Barthelemy), and Quincy (Guerrier) a chance to go home and play in front of friends and family, something I think will be really special for those guys.”

The Ducks will play McGill University in Montreal on August 21st, before traveling to Ottawa to play the University of Ottawa and Carleton University on August 22 and 23. Oregon closes the trip in Toronto with games vs. McMaster University on August 25 and Toronto Metropolitan University on August 26.
