Once again, the Oregon Ducks announced some heat on a Thursday afternoon.
With a big road trip to Stanford on Saturday, the Ducks announced that they will be wearing a classic mix of white and green against the Stanford Cardinal, with white tops and helmets, and green pants.
For Oregon fans that are keen on this, you could have seen a uniform combo like this coming.
Last week, the Ducks Twitter account posted a Throwback Thursday video that had Oregon wearing apple green uniforms with black pants and a black helmet. Hours later, they released images for Saturday’s uniforms vs. Arizona, which, of course, featured green uniforms with black helmets and pants.
So Thursday’s video of white uniforms with green helmets was certainly telling…
The Oregon Ducks have a storied rivalry against Stanford, and it’s not surprising that they will try and look the best while attempting to stake their claim as the best team in the Pac-12 North.
