Oregon Ducks OL Marcus Harper hints at return for Big Ten Championship Game

Oregon Ducks starting right guard Marcus Harper hinted at his return from injury for the Big Ten Championship Game vs. Penn State.

The Oregon Ducks have been without one of the best players on their roster for the last several weeks due to an injury, but they may be getting him back at the best possible time.

On Saturday morning, starting right guard Marcus Harper posted a somewhat cryptic message to his social media accounts, hinting at his return for the Big Ten Championship Game vs. the Penn State Nittany Lions.

On Twitter, Harper posted a picture of one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the caption “It’s Time.” Meanwhile, Harper posted a video of Gervonta Davis backflipping with Jay-Z’s ‘The Ruler’s Back’ playing.

Harper, who is one of the longest-tenured players on this Oregon team, has not played since getting injured against the Michigan Wolverines back in early November. The injury was to Harper’s knee but was not deemed season-ending at the time. He has been able to slowly work back and get himself in a position to be healthy before the playoffs start.

Last week, Harper warmed up with the team ahead of Oregon’s Senior Day vs. the Washington Huskies but did not end up playing at all. Does this announcement mean that he will be good to go vs. Penn State on Saturday?

That’s yet to be seen, but it feels like a good sign for Duck fans.
