In the last College Football Playoff rankings before things become official next week, the Oregon Ducks saw a small bump up in the polls after their win over the Oregon State Beavers.
The Ducks came in at No. 10 in the latest CFP rankings, moving ahead of the Oklahoma Sooners, who just lost to the Oklahoma State Cowboys last week.
While it is nice to see Oregon move up in the rankings, it won’t matter much for anything in the long run, since the Ducks don’t have a path into the College Football Playoff ever since their loss to the Utah Utes a couple of weeks ago. However, they will have a chance to avenge that loss on Friday in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
If the Ducks can win that game, they will earn a spot in the Rose Bowl at the end of the year.
