Oregon Ducks hire Junior Adams away from Washington be be Co-OC and WR coach

The finishing touches are being put on Dan Lanning’s coaching staff. Washington’s Junior Adams will reportedly leave the Huskies to join Oregon.

Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks have filled out the new coaching staff, ringing in the new year with an impressive hire on the offensive side of the ball, and one that will please Duck fans by twisting a knife in the side of the Washington Huskies.

Oregon is reportedly bringing in Junior Adams to be the new co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach. Adams is the former OC at Western Kentucky and is viewed as a great recruiter out on the west coast.

The Huskys recently had a coaching change, bringing in Kalen DeBoer from Fresno State after Jimmy Lake was fired for cause. Adams was one of only two coaches to stay on staff from the previous tenure, but it appears that he was willing to leave when the right job came calling.

Apparently, Oregon was the right job.
