With Notre Dame hosting Louisville this weekend in one of the biggest games across college football, plenty of recruits will be flocking to South Bend to take in the action.
The hope was that 2025 quarterback commit [autotag]Deuce Knight[/autotag] would be in town, but unfortunately he will once again head to Auburn. There is good news however, as 2026 commit [autotag]Noah Grubbs[/autotag] will be on campus this weekend.
The 6-foot, 4-inch and 188-pound Floridian committed to Notre Dame on June 1st of this year, giving the Irish one of the best quarterbacks in the country. The 247Sports Composite Rankings has Grubbs as the No. 128 overall prospect and 12th ranked player at his position in the nation.
While this isn’t the news that many were hoping to hear, it’s still a good sign for the Irish. They have recruited the position well since Marcus Freeman took over, and have dipped into the transfer portal to plug gaps as well.

Hopefully, that is the last that we hear of a transfer coming into the program, as developing quarterbacks is just as important as recruiting them. Hopefully, Grubbs sees this and is just as excited when he committed to the program as he is now.
