July has begun to turn into quite the month for the Oklahoma Sooners on the recruiting trail. Thus far they’ve received commitments from LB [autotag]Phil Picciotti[/autotag] and WR [autotag]Jaquaize Pettaway[/autotag] after landing LB [autotag]Samuel Omosigho[/autotag] on the last day of June.
As Oklahoma’s targets begin to wrap up their official visits, the commitments to will begin to come down the pipeline. Offensive lineman Cayden Green could be the next domino to fall on Friday.
Adepoju Adebawore, a priority target for the Sooners continues to trend toward Oklahoma. This time with On3 Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman predicting the four-star edge rusher to commit to Oklahoma.

Adebawore is the No. 72 overall player in the On3 Consensus and the No. 13 edge rusher.
Oklahoma and Brent Venables are still looking for their first defensive line commitment in the 2023 class. The Sooners are contending with Missouri, Georgia, LSU, and Northwestern. The Kansas City native would be a huge addition for the Sooners and a nice feather in the cap for defensive ends coach Miguel Chavis.
