LSU left tackle [autotag]Will Campbell[/autotag] has sat near the top of a few lists this offseason. Several 2024 NFL mock drafts have Campbell in the top five and Campbell’s name is on nearly every All-American prediction.
The recognition is continuing with On3 naming Campbell one of the 25 most impactful players of the 2024 college football season.
Campbell ranks No. 4 overall and is the top-ranked offensive player.
“The 6-6, 325-pound junior stands to be in the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, as Campbell is arguably the top left tackle playing on Saturdays. A starter since day one as a freshman, Campbell has developed from a former blue-chip recruit to the anchor of LSU’s terrific offensive line,” On3 wrote.
The three players in front of Campbell are Michigan’s Will Johnson and Mason Graham, along with Tennessee’s James Pearce Jr.
LSU is losing a lot of production on offense, but Campbell headlines four returning starters on the offensive line. With a dominant front, LSU is expected to roll on offense again.
Its rare to have a left tackle as talented and as experienced as Campbell. With a good year, he has the chance to go down as the best offensive linemen in LSU history.
