The Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Clippers have discussed a potential three-team trade that would have the Wizards send Kristaps Porzingis to Boston and Malcolm Brogdon head to the Clippers.
The Wizards are still recovering from the Bradley Beal trade, and the Celtics are exploring creative ways to improve their roster. Porzingis would fit well defensively and provide rim protection, but there are concerns about his health and fit with star Celtics forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. The Celtics may not send any picks in this scenario. Early reporting suggests the draft compensation is coming from Los Angeles in the proposed deal.
