On the ever-rising stock of Celtics’ Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown

There is an excellent case that it has never been higher.

Has the stock for star All-NBA Boston Celtics forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum ever been higher than it is right now? With both of the Celtics’ star swingmen poised to make the 2024 NBA All-Star Game as Boston holds the top spot of the Eastern Conference standings with something like a vice grip halfway through the 2023-24 season, there is an excellent case it has not.

Even when the team has had games it would rather forget about — such as the debacle vs. the Milwaukee Bucks after an overtime win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves the night before — Boston has bounced back quickly. In that particular example, we then saw the Celtics trounce the Houston Rockets in Ime Udoka’s return, then shut down the Toronto Raptors from deep to win again.
