On Jayson Tatum leading the Boston Celtics to a 114-98 win over the New York Knicks

The St. Louis native put up 35 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists on the night, showing off his offensive repertoire.

In a convincing 114-98 win against the New York Knicks on Monday night at TD Garden, star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum led the Boston Celtics with one of his most impressive games of the season so far. The St. Louis native put up 35 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists on the night, showing off his offensive repertoire.

Although the Knicks put up a good fight, Tatum’s explosive fourth-quarter performance sealed the win for the Celtics, and Boston’s dominance in the paint and 44.2% shooting from deep helped to secure the victory. Sam Houser’s emergence as a solid bench player was also evident in his defense and rebounding.

With a strong record early in the season, the team looks poised to compete at a high level.
