On Dennis Schroder, the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the 2024-25 Brooklyn Nets season ahead

Did Schroder boost his trade value despite Germany not medaling?

His German National Team may not have ended up on the podium for Men’s 5 × 5 basketball in the 2024 Paris Olympics, but veteran Brooklyn Nets floor general Dennis Schroder still managed to boost his potential trade value with his play there.

The folks behind the “Nets Kingdom” podcast recently took a closer look at Schroder’s Olympic experience and how it might affect Brooklyn in the future. They also talked about the German point guard being asked if the rest of the world is catching up with the US National Team in men’s basketball. He replied “I think European basketball is no entertainment; it’s straight IQ basketball, straight coaching, and really, really high IQ guys who know how to play the game … of course the (NBA) is the best league in the world, but the Europeans, they’re coming for sure.”

Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about Schroder, the Olympics, trades, and more.
