On Sunday Sam Pittman officially began the search for a new defensive line coach, and now he will need to find a new defensive backfield coach, too. Cornerbacks coach Sam Carter has accepted a similar position at SEC West rival Ole Miss. This news has been confirmed by multiple outlets.
Sources tell @ClowESPN and me that #OleMiss is set to hire #Arkansas cornerbacks coach Sam Carter for the same role. He spent the last two years at Arkansas after coming over with coordinator Barry Odom from Missouri.@zach_barnett first reported Ole Miss targeting Carter.
