Oklahoma’s third round of COVID-19 testing revealed no active cases on the Sooners roster on Thursday.

The team had 98 players tested, as well as 30 staff members on Wednesday.

The school has been at the forefront of transparency regarding the virus in recent weeks, releasing weekly updated on their coronavirus numbers. Their initial test on July 1 included 14 positive tests for players, including seven results and seven pre-existing cases, and two staff members.

Last week on July 8, there were nine active cases. Five players recovered from the initial testing.

As of Thursday, all 16 cases have recovered, and there are officially no active cases for the team.

Head coach Lincoln Riley has been vocal about player health, and is also confident there are safe alternatives to a regular college football season.

Oklahoma is currently schedule to begin their season on September 5 against Missouri State, but could be looking to move that date up in order to test for coronavirus between games.
