Oklahoma has landed its first football alum on the NFL Top-100 list for the 2020 season.
Kyler Murray has lit the football world on fire in his last two seasons. The former Sooners’ quarterback won the Heisman Trophy before becoming the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. Murray went on to win Offensive Rookie of the Year with the Arizona Cardinals in ’19.
He now is the No. 90 player heading into the 2020 season as voted on by players in the NFL.

As a rookie, Murray threw for 3,722 passing yards and 20 touchdowns to 12 interceptions. He also rushed for 544 yards and four touchdowns.
In one season at Oklahoma, Murray had the most efficient season at quarterback in Sooners’ history. He threw for 4,361 yards on 69 completion percentage and 42 touchdowns to seven interceptions while rushing for 1001 yards and 12 touchdowns.
The Arizona Cardinals acquired star receiver DeAndre Hopkins in the offseason to help bolster Murray’s receiving corps with future Hall-of-Fame receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk.
