Former Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts saw his first NFL action two weeks ago for the Philadelphia Eagles. His only touches were two rushes in which he gained eight yards.
He played again in last week’s win at San Francisco, carrying the ball three times for 18 yards.
In Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Hurts finally attempted a pass. Hurts found tight end Richard Rodgers for an 18-yard gain and a Philadelphia first down.

Hurts immediately returned to the sideline as Philadelphia starting quarterback Carson Wentz returned.
In his lone year at Oklahoma in 2019, Hurts completed almost 70 percent of his passes for 3,851 yards and 32 touchdowns.
At 1-2-1, the Eagles sit atop of the NFC East by a half-game entering Sunday’s action, trail the Steelers 31-29 midway through the fourth quarter.
