As people (who can) spend the vast majority of the time inside their homes during the coronavirus outbreak, those with yards and space outdoors are especially fortunate in these uncertain times. It’s an easy way to be outside but still practice responsible social distancing, and Oklahoma wide receiver Spencer Jones and his family are taking advantage.
A video the senior recently posted on social media shows Jones making a wager with his dad, who said he’d pay out $1,000 if his son could make a ridiculously deep shot on one of his next three tries. Now, the catch is, obviously, that the hoop so far away that Jones is launching it up with one hand.
His first attempt misses by a lot, not even hitting the backboard. But as it turns out, he still didn’t need three tries to make it…
His dad bet $1,000 that he wouldn’t make the shot 💰🔥 #SCtop10
