New this year, @UofOklahoma is blurring windows of dorm rooms overlooking the football practice field. (No spying) One parent- just told of the change five days before her son moves in- calls it “overkill” Do you agree? @NEWS9 pic.twitter.com/NB64iUYrdT

News 9’s Karl Torp reported that one parent who was alerted of the change called it “overkill.”
Spying has played a small role in college football, and the prospect of figuring out what makes Riley’s offense tick is certainly a tempting thought for many coaches around the country. However, Oklahoma’s decision does seem overly cautious.
The season is currently in jeopardy with the Big Ten expected to announce the cancellation of their season soon, with the Pac-12 soon to follow. No power five conference has made an official announcement. The Ivy League and Mountain West conference have already officially canceled.
Should it continue, the Big 12 announced they would be moving to a 10-game schedule that would allow one nonconference game.
