Class of 2025 defensive lineman Alexander McPherson took to social media on Thursday afternoon to announce an offer from the Colorado Buffaloes.
McPherson is a 6-foot-5, 250-pound three-star prospect (per 247Sports) who committed to the Oklahoma State Cowboys in June.
After spending his first two prep seasons at Martin County High School in Florida, McPherson transferred to Sunshine State powerhouse IMG Academy before his junior year. According to MaxPreps, the senior owns 28 total tackles, nine TFLs, seven sacks and two forced fumbles in six games played this season.
McPherson closed his sophomore season at Martin County with 53 total tackles, 11 TFLs and seven sacks.
The 247Sports composite ranks McPherson as the No. 120 DL in his class and the No. 148 prospect from Florida. His other Power Four offers include Indiana, Michigan State and Pitt.
With the early signing period just over one month away, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders holds 10 class of 2025 commits, including fellow three-star DL Christian Hudson.
