Get ready for Saturday’s matchup between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Iowa State Cyclones with our Sooners Wire Staff Predictions.

Oklahoma 35, Iowa State 24

I hate to be the person that says it but this game is Oklahoma’s season. A loss here really muddies up their chances of defending their Big 12 crown and guarantees they will not be in the College Football Playoff.

Thankfully, the Sooners aren’t facing a Dave Aranda coached defense this week but the Iowa State Cyclones are far from pushovers. This will be the third time these teams have faced each other since the start of last season.

I’m going Oklahoma. Why? It’s Senior Day and the last home game of the season. The loss might’ve been the jumpstart this team needed to start playing complementary football more consistently.

Caleb Williams bounces back and throws 2 touchdowns(Jeremiah Hall and Marvin Mims) and runs for a score. Kennedy Brooks gets over 85 yards and a score and we get an interception from one of the starting corners.
