Oklahoma Sooners offers four-star safety out of Texas Aaron Flowers

Oklahoma goes back to Texas as they offer four-star DB Aaron Flowers out of Forney.

The safety position has been a position that has struggled this season in the new defensive system brought over by Brent Venables and Ted Roof. Safeties coach Brandon Hall has had to work around his most consistent player, Billy Bowman missing extended time due to injury. Every week has been an adventure at the safety spot, and Hall is just trying to find the right guys to fit the system.

On the recruiting trail Hall has cast an extremely wide net to many safeties across the country. His latest offer went out to Forney, Texas, for four-star safety Aaron Flowers. Flowers stands 6-foot-1 and displays positional versatility. He was a first-team all-district cornerback in 2021.

Flowers is a top 250 player nationally, but is by no means a finished product. His versatility and ability to play corner and safety gives him some upside. Brent Venables loves his defensive backs to have flexibility in his multiple-defensive scheme.
