Oklahoma football officially set the date for the 2020 Spring Game, will be held on Saturday, April 18. No time has been announced yet.
In the past, the Spring Game has been an eventful weekend for the Sooners. It is typically a big recruiting weekend for Lincoln Riley and his team, and a chance for alumni to come back. The date is not set in stone, as last year’s game was moved to a Friday due to inclement weather.
In last year’s game, Jalen Hurts got his chance to showcase his skills for the first time as a Sooner. Alex Grinch, who was the newly hired defensive coordinator, did the same with his defense.
This year, it looks to be as if Spencer Rattler and Tanner Mordecai will be facing off against one another, and Alex Grinch will have a full year under his belt with the Sooners.

This year’s Spring Game will also be Oklahoma’s first chance to showcase it’s 2020 recruiting class, which finished in the top 15 in the nation according to rivals.com.
A concert for country music singer Lee Brice was held before kickoff last season.
