The Oklahoma Sooners football program will be joining the SEC in style for the 2024 season, as the team unveiled new alternate uniforms that will be worn.
I suppose calling them “new” may be a bit of a stretch, as they are modeled after the program’s unforms from the Bud Wilkerson era from 1946 through 1956.
According to the official announcement by Oklahoma, the team will debut the uniforms in the Sept. 7 home game against Houston. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase replica jerseys and other merchandise in the throwback style.
