Oklahoma QB target Caleb Williams wins 2020 Elite 11 Finals MVP

It has happened again. Oklahoma’s Spencer Rattler won the Elite 11 MVP in 2018, and potentially the Sooners next QB just won it in 2020.

It has happened again.

Spencer Rattler went in and won the Elite 11 Finals MVP over heralded competitor and now Auburn starting quarterback Bo Nix in 2018. Oklahoma may have a second Elite 11 Finals MVP coming now.

Five-star and No. 1 overall quarterback Caleb Williams was named the 2020 Elite 11 Finals MVP Wednesday afternoon.

Williams won the award over five of the top-7 other quarterbacks in the country, including former Oklahoma commit Brock Vandagriff and Michigan commit J.J. McCarthy. The winner was determined by 75 percent of game tape and 25 percent on the performance at the event.

The Oklahoma target blew people away on night one, earning the top honors. He finished 10th in the pro day portion of the event on day two, scoring 34 points, and eventually won the award on Wednesday.

The Washington D.C. native has a final three of Oklahoma, LSU and Maryland. Williams is schedule to make his commitment on Saturday.

Oklahoma has one No. 1 overall quarterback recruit on campus currently in Rattler, who sat for one season and is the presumed starter for the 2020 season.
