Oklahoma is missing at least 20 players from its roster during the Missouri State game.
This is due to suspensions, COVID-19 positive tests or contact tracing. Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley said earlier in the week that the Sooners would not be releasing testing data due to “competitive” reasons.
That hasn’t stopped two of those players from having some fun.
Oklahoma kicker Gabe Brkic tweeted from wherever he is at during the first quarter.
I just woke up…alarm clock didn’t go off. I’ll be back!

One of the Sooners’ H-backs, Brayden Willis, joined in on the fun.

Oklahoma has not released any information as to why these players are not available for the Missouri State game.
The Sooners are currently leading the Bears 41-0 at half. Spencer Rattler has thrown for four touchdowns in his starting debut and Oklahoma has held Missouri State to 37 total yards.
