In 14 career games, Stripling has six total tackles (four solos/two assists) with one tackle being a sack against Texas in the Red River Rivalry. Spreading his stats out, Stripling recorded single tackles against Houston, South Dakota, Texas Tech, West Virginia, and capped the year off with a tackle against Baylor in the Big 12 Championship.
