Just six days after offensive lineman Stacey Wilkins apparently opted out of the 2020 season, Oklahoma is having another man up front leave the team as redshirt freshman E.J. Ndoma-Ogar has entered the transfer portal, per The Athletic’s Jason Kersey.
Out of Allen, Texas, Ndoma-Ogar was a 3-star recruit in the class of 2019 per Rivals. As a true freshman, he appeared in four games a year ago in a reserve role, which is the maximum number a player can play in and still preserve their redshirt.
This season, he had elected to opt out of the year and was removed from Oklahoma’s online roster.
Ndoma-Ogar will now officially start to look for a new place to play football for the foreseeable future as the Sooners prepare to head to Lubbock to face Texas Tech on Saturday.
