Oklahoma makes top-5 for top-30 2021 recruit

The Sooners have made four-star offensive tackle Tristan Leigh’s list of final five schools

After a star-studded Fourth of July, Oklahoma is back on the trail.

The Sooners have made four-star offensive tackle Tristan Leigh’s list of final five schools. The 6-foot-6, 290-pound product out of Virginia has 38 Division I offers in total, but has significantly narrowed down the list of his next destination.

Leigh is the No. 4 overall offensive tackle according to Rivals, and the second overall player in the state of Virginia.

Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and LSU round out the rest of his top five schools.

Caleb Williams, one of Oklahoma’s most recent commits and the No. 1 quarterback in the class of 2021, has long vied for Leigh to join him at the next level.

Oklahoma currently holds the No. 16 overall class in 2021, per Rivals.

The Sooners are currently set to begin their season on September 5 versus Missouri State. The Big Ten and Pac-12 have opted for conference only schedules for the 2020 season, but no such decision has been made by the Big 12 conference yet.
