Oklahoma is riding high after handling TCU on Saturday, but that will get dampened a bit by be the de-commitment today of three-star cornerback Caleb Johnson.
Johnson had previously announced his intention of heading to Norman back in July.
Out of Greenville, Texas, Johnson has also received offered from schools such as Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, TCU and Texas A&M among others.
He had also said previously that he hoped to play offense as well if that was his best path to seeing success, since he was a receiver in high school, but the intention was for the Sooners to use him on defense.
A close eye will now be kept out for where Johnson opts to go to next, and if Oklahoma lands someone else soon to replace him in their 2021 class.
I would like to thank the University of Oklahoma for the opportunity they have given me, but I would like to announce my de-commitment.
Recruitment Open!!!
