Oklahoma lands commitment from 2025 4-star wide receiver

Oklahoma lands the talented wideout from the state of Florida.

The same day the program officially joined the SEC, the Oklahoma Sooners landed a big commitment to their 2025 recruiting class Monday from Cortez Mills.

A prospect from the state of Florida, Mills attends Homestead High School where he is considered as the nation’s No. 88 overall player according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Mills also ranks as the No. 13 player in the state of Florida, as well as the No. 12 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle.

Playing for one of Florida’s top high school programs, Mills is also coming off a junior season in which he ranked among the state’s leading receivers, amassing 1,640 yards and 18 touchdowns on 79 receptions.

The wide receiver is now commitment No. 20 for an Oklahoma class that ranks fifth-best nationally for the 2025 cycle, as well as third in the SEC. Mills is now also the highest-rated prospect of the Sooners class altogether, as well as fifth wide receiver of the group.
