There was a report from Sports Illustrated that said Oklahoma was “against the sentiment” of the other Big 12 schools in continuing towards a 2020 season. The Sooners have not said anything official about the push for football this fall, even with athletic director Joe Castiglione meeting with the media recently.
Prominent Oklahoma beat writer Carey Murdock of SoonerScoop.com has dismissed that notion, saying that the Sooners are “fully committed” with the rest of the Big 12 in playing football this fall.

The Big 12 has yet to make a final decision on the 2020 season, but have announced they are pushing towards playing and have released a schedule.
Oklahoma is set to begin the 2020 season on Sept. 12 against Missouri State at home and begin Big 12 play on Sept. 26 against Kansas State at home.
