The Sooners rose to No. 3 in the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports after a 48-0 win and teams not playing being removed from the rankings. After Week 3, Oklahoma is now tied with Georgia at No. 3 in the Amway Coaches Poll with the Bulldogs not playing a game yet.

Texas fell one spot to No. 9 and Oklahoma State fell six spots to No. 18 after its underwhelming 16-7 win against Tulsa. Baylor, who was ranked No. 24, fell out of the poll.

Oklahoma’s Spencer Rattler threw for four passing touchdowns and 290 yards in his debut against Missouri State as the defense put up a shutout. The Sooners return to action this week as they start Big 12 Conference play against Kansas State.
