Five-star QB commit Caleb Williams is putting his work in already for the Sooners.
Despite taking extra classes to accelerate his process to Oklahoma, as well as preparing for his final season of high school football, Williams still finds the time to pitch Oklahoma to recruits.
Williams is actively trying to persuade targets to follow him to Oklahoma, including several big names including Damon Harmond, Kelvin Gilliam, Emeka Egbuka, Tristan Leigh and Bryce Foster.
“Those have been my main guys I’ve kind of been picking at.”
The QB hasn’t been shy about where he wants those guys to end up, publicly tweeting them and pitching Oklahoma as a landing spot.

Williams is also working on Texas commit Billy Bowman, who recently picked up an offer from the Sooners.
“I know him. I’ve met him and we hung out a little bit at the Future 50. Even though he’s on the opposite side I’d love to have him and for him to be a Boomer Sooner.” he wrote.
Oklahoma currently has the 16th-ranked class in the country according to Rivals.
Williams would like that number to be more towards the top.
“Trying to get these guys on board so we can get this class rolling along faster. “
