Oklahoma was a 38-point favorite for a reason against Kansas.

The Jayhawks were 0-6 heading into Saturday’s game and are now 0-7 after the Sooners took care of business in a 62-10 win.

Oklahoma started off slow, only holding a 14-point lead after the first quarter behind an Austin Stogner receiving touchdown and a 29-yard touchdown urn by Rhamondre Stevenson.

The Sooners would lead 31-3 at half.

Oklahoma did have to pause in this game as Spencer Rattler went down with a hip injury and Austin Stogner was removed from the game after taking a big hit over the middle of the field on a reception. Rattler would come out of the game, but return for three-straight drives before being permanently replaced for the rest of the game.

The Sooners’ defense was again its best unit. Oklahoma held Kansas to just three yards per play and recorded 11 tackles for loss, as well as nine sacks.

Tanner Mordecai played for majority of the second half, completing seven of his eight passes for 128 yards and one touchdown.

Jadon Haselwood made his 2020 debut, catching one pass for 33 yards and playing more than a dozen snaps.

Oklahoma will play Oklahoma State on Nov. 21 for a chance to make the Big 12 Championship.
