Class of 2025 four-star wide receiver Cortez Mills was rocking Nebraska football gear in a workout video posted earlier this week.
Mills has been a Nebraska target for quite a while. They first offered the wide receiver on December 16, 2022. He committed to the Oklahoma Sooners on July 1, but Nebraska has been steadily involved in his recruitment over the last year. He took two unofficial visits on January 20 and September 7. He took an official visit for the Red-White game on April 26.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Mills is the 15th-best wide receiver in the 2025 class and the 18th-best player from the state of Florida.
The Huskers are trying to build a juggernaut at wide receiver in the 2025 class. They already have Isaiah Mozee and a ton of talent on the roster. The class itself ranks 21st overall nationally, per the 247Sports Team Rankings.
This would be a solid addition for Nebraska football. This coaching staff has shown a strong ability to recruit, and Mills would certainly be a notch in the proverbial belt for the staff.
