Oklahoma coaches, players tweet out in unity of ‘Black Lives Matter’

Oklahoma football players, alongside Lincoln Riley, marched down OU’s campus on Friday in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Oklahoma football players, alongside head coach Lincoln Riley, marched arm-in-arm down the south oval on Friday morning in a display of unity and in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

They marched to OU’s Unity Garden, where Riley took a moment to address the media members in attendance with a statement.

In addition to the live demonstration, a number of players and coaches expressed their unity via Twitter, tweeting out an image of the team standing together with a pair of hashtags: Black Lives Matter and Unity.

At the time of this post, more than 60 Oklahoma players and coaches have tweeted the image and caption.
