After the first drive, there was absolutely no question who was winning in Lubbock, Texas.

Texas Tech jumped out to a 7-0 lead behind an impressive drive from Henry Colombi and the Red Raiders. Four turnovers and 48 Oklahoma points later, the Sooners wrapped up this one early.

Oklahoma would ride that momentum into the second half and complete a dominant 62-28 win.

The Sooners scored 42 unanswered after the first touchdown by Texas Tech. In his return from a suspension, Rhamondre Stevenson rumbled off three first-half rushing touchdowns while donning an undershirt that read ‘I’m Back.’ Stevenson would go on to rush for 87 yards on three carries to add to those three touchdowns.

Spencer Rattler had another huge night. The redshirt freshman threw for 288 yards on 21 of 30 attempts and threw for two touchdowns.

Oklahoma’s defense brought its best to the game, too. In his first start of the season, Tre Norwood got two interceptions and Isaiah Thomas recovered a fumble.

Oklahoma scored two second-half touchdowns, as well as Texas Tech did.

The Sooners return to action next Saturday against Kansas at 2:30 p.m. CT.
