The offseason is coming to a quick break.

Oklahoma announced its full spring football practice schedule on Monday afternoon. Head coach Lincoln Riley will kickoff the spring with a press conference on March 9 and practice will begin the next day on March 10.

The Sooners will get two practices in before spring break (March 16-20) with the second practice on March 12. Oklahoma will return to practice on March 23 and get six more practices in before the spring game on April 18.

This is a pivotal spring for Riley and defensive coordinator Alex Grinch with a quarterback battle and newcomers on defense who will need to make an impact this full already on campus. The 2020 spring will be the second spring the two go through together and the first with players Grinch has recruited at Oklahoma.

The Sooners will hit the practice fields in just over two weeks.

A kickoff time for the Oklahoma spring game has yet to be announced.
