There is a ton of momentum to having a 2020 college football season these days. No definite signs, yet, but the season would start less than 100 days from now.

Sooners Wire will be creating player cards for readers to be introduced to the 2020 roster.

Here is the No. 36 for Oklahoma.

Name: Josh Schenk

Number: No. 36

Year: Redshirt senior

Position: Linebacker

Hometown: Knightdale, North Carolina

Josh Schenk is among many of the walk-on program at Oklahoma.

A product of Knightdale High School in North Carolina, Schenk recorded 85 tackles—including 27 tackles for loss. He came to Oklahoma in the 2016 recruiting class and has won four Big 12 Championships in four seasons.

Schenk was a part of a really cool moment when Army came to town. As a member of the Army ROTC at Oklahoma, he stayed out at half time to perform a pass in review with fellow members of the ROTC.

He has not played a down for Oklahoma yet.
