The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Sunday they had recalled guard Lindy Waters III from the G League’s OKC Blue.
The Thunder assigned Waters to the Blue on March 2. Waters played for the Blue against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday before being recalled to the Thunder.
After spending most of the season on a two-way deal, the Thunder recently converted Waters to a standard NBA contract, which means they have to announce when he gets assigned and recalled from the G League.
In 26 games with the Thunder, Waters is averaging 4.5 points and is shooting 37.1% from 3 on 3.4 attempts.
