Incoming Colorado football transfer Dallan Hayden will be rocking a new uniform number with the Buffs. After wearing No. 5 during his two seasons with the Ohio State Buckeyes, the sophomore running back revealed via his Instagram story on Saturday that he’s switching to No. 7.
When he committed to Colorado in April, Hayden’s No. 5 was already taken by wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., but the former Buckeye will share No. 7 with a defensive player, safety Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig.
As an Ohio State freshman in 2022, Hayden rushed for 553 yards and five touchdowns. His best performance came against Maryland when he recorded 146 yards and three touchdowns.
TCU Horned Frogs transfer wide receiver Cordale Russell (No. 15) and former Auburn Tigers cornerback Colton Hood (No. 3) also revealed their jersey numbers ahead of their first seasons in Boulder.
