On Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes played their spring football game. The team does so with a heavy heart as they continue to mourn the loss of former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins. Haskins was killed just a week ago when he was struck by a car.

Buckeyes quarterback CJ Stroud paid tribute to Haskins at the spring game by wearing a Haskins Jersey. He even pointed to the back of the jersey with the No. 7 and Haskins name after scoring a touchdown.

Haskins was a first-round pick in the NFL back in 2019 and spent time with Washington and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Haskins was set to compete for the starting job in Pittsburgh this season and died when he was only 24 years old.
