If you are in and around Columbus or will be in June, and if you happen to have a youngster or two (or three) that wants to polish up their basketball skills, or simply have an experience at Ohio State with the men’s basketball program, we’re here to relay some information on this year’s Ohio State basketball experience camp.
The 2023 OSU camp will take place from June 26-29 and is for kids entering grades 4-9 that want an experience and isn’t necessarily geared towards intensive instruction. According to the release from Ohio State, the camps are:
… “conducted to give campers an inside view into to the Men’s Basketball program while coaches provide individual and team-oriented instruction. Campers will participate in stations, drills, gameplay, and competitions to assist in the development of basic skills to become better basketball players.
“Campers will get to play and train on the Schottenstein Center floor and other practice facilities used by the Ohio State Basketball teams. Registration is open to boys entering grades 4-9 in Fall 2023; Campers will be grouped based on age and ability.”
Note that there are no walk-ups allowed and all participants must register beforehand.
