The Cleveland Browns, and their faithful fan base, is looking forward to what might be when Odell Beckham Jr. returns healthy in 2021. In 2020, without a full offseason, the Browns new offense took a little while to get going under new head coach Kevin Stefanski and offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt.
The Browns offense took off starting in Week 8 without Beckham on the field after tearing his ACL. Baker Mayfield and company started to look comfortable in what they were asked to do including an good passing game to compliment a great rushing attack.
What the Browns were lacking was an explosive element to the passing game. The return of Beckham is one way the Browns hope to add that explosiveness but not the only. The team also drafted the fastest player in the NFL draft, Anthony Schwartz, in the third round.
While we have seen some videos of Beckham’s recovery we haven’t seen him cutting with any kind of decisiveness. A new post by OBJ finally shows us him doing just that and it is a great sign of where he is in his rehab:

Less than a year into recovery from ACL surgery, this is impressive to see from Beckham. As we noted previously, Beckham is expected to show up for organized team activities perhaps as early as this week.
A healthy Odell Beckham Jr. with a return of this kind of explosiveness could set the Browns up for a top five offense in 2021. For now, just good to see him cutting aggressively.
