Odell Beckham Jr. remains one of the NFL’s most popular and visible players. The Browns wide receiver has maintained his fan cache despite an underwhelming first season in Cleveland, and his social media presence is a big reason why “OBJ” remains so popular.
In the NFLPA’s study of its players and social media via Opendorse, Beckham is No. 1 in total social media engagements. Opendorse tracked total followers and engagements across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for all the NFL players.
Beckham sits atop the list, with some true NFL luminaries lurking close behind.
- Odell Beckham Jr., Cleveland Browns
- Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers
- Julian Edelman, New England Patriots
- J.J. Watt, Houston Texans
- Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks
- Patrick Mahomes II, Kansas City Chiefs
- Todd Gurley, Atlanta Falcons
- Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys
- Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles
Interestingly, Beckham did not make the list as one of the 10 most active players on social media.
