The Ravens have not lost since September. Following another win in Buffalo on Sunday, oddsmakers don’t see that changing any time soon.
Gang Green will travel to Baltimore for Thursday Night Football and will attempt to hand the Ravens their second home loss of the season. After edging out the Dolphins with a game-winning field goal in the final seconds of Sunday’s matchup, the Jets improved to 5-8 on the season. This, however, won’t be enough for a postseason run, as they sit in third place of the AFC East.
The Ravens are very much in the playoff hunt, though. At 11-2, oddsmakers have deemed Baltimore substantial favorites at 14.5 points, according to BetMGM.
As if that large of a spread does not speak loudly enough, the Ravens’ money line currently sits at -1112. The total over-under for Thursday’s game is set at 44.5 points with both sides holding at -110.
New York, as clear underdogs, possess a money line of +650 at a 14.5-point disadvantage. Against the spread, the Jets hold odds of -106 to the Ravens’ -115.
The last time these two teams met was back in October 2016. The Ravens traveled to the Meadowlands and were defeated by Gang Green, 24-16. Baltimore has the edge all-time with an 8-2-0 record against New York.
Thursday night’s game is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. in Baltimore. While there’s never a guarantee in sports, oddsmakers have indicated this one is as close to it as can be.
