After the first week of NFL free agency, the Denver Broncos’ over/under win total for 2020 has been set at 7.5, according to BetOnline.ag. That’s half a game lower than the start of free agency, when Denver had an over/under betting line of eight wins.
Last year, oddsmakers gave Denver an over/under win total of seven wins and the team ended the season with a 7-9 record. Whether that was a coincidence or a smart prediction by Las Vegas, it was a spot-on over/under line.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs have the highest over/under win total (11.5), followed by the Las Vegas Raiders (7.5) and Los Angeles Chargers (7.5).
The Broncos also have the worst odds to win the AFC West this season and 20/1 odds to land quarterback Cam Newton. Denver’s own quarterback, Drew Lock has 150/1 odds to win the NFL’s MVP award in 2020. The Broncos have 50/1 odds to win Super Bowl LV this season.
