Odds for Titans’ Mike Vrabel to win NFL Coach of the Year in 2021

It will take a monumental effort from the Titans for Vrabel to win in 2021.

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is right near the middle of the pack of NFL coaches when it comes to his odds for winning NFL Coach of the Year in 2021.

According to BetMGM, Vrabel’s odds sit at +2500, tying him with six other coaches, including the New York Giants’ Joe Judge, the New Orleans Saints’ Sean Payton, the Atlanta Falcons’ Arthur Smith, the Denver Broncos’ Vic Fangio, the Minnesota Vikings’ Mike Zimmer and the Chicago Bears’ Matt Nagy.

There are a total of 12 head coaches who come in with better odds than Vrabel, with Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, who won the honor in 2020, being the favorite among them.

Here’s the list, complete with odds.

Kevin Stefanski, Cleveland Browns: +1200

Sean McVay, Los Angeles Rams: +1600

Kyle Shanahan, San Francisco 49ers: +1600

Andy Reid, Kansas City Chiefs: +1600

Brandon Staley, Los Angeles Chargers: +1600

Brian Flores, Miami Dolphins: +1600

Frank Reich, Indianapolis Colts: +1800

Sean McDermott, Buffalo Bills: +1800

Robert Saleh, New York Jets: +1800

Bill Belichick, New England Patriots: +2000

Bruce Arians, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: +2000

John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens: +2000

The interesting thing here is that Las Vegas apparently believes Stefanski can win the award again, which would be quite rare. In fact, no NFL head coach has won it two years in a row since Washington’s Joe Gibbs did so in 1982-83.

If an 11-5 season that culminated with the Titans’ first division title since 2008 wasn’t enough last season, it will take a monumental effort from Tennessee for Vrabel to win it this time around.
