To say this has been a strange high school football season for LSU recruits like Garrett Nussmeier and Corey Kiner would be an understatement.
Some states moved fall sports to the spring, while others delayed the season, and some began on a normal schedule.
For LSU’s 2021 recruiting class, it has been a busy fall thus far. Some of LSU’s 2021 commits are already participating in the playoffs, while some are just getting started.
Four-star running back Corey Kiner of 8-0 Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati is playing in the state semifinal this weekend against Versailles. Kiner, of the most productive offensive players in the history of the state of Ohio, now has 120 total touchdowns in his high school career.

Another star in LSU’s 2021 class is quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.
In four games this season, Nussmeier is completing almost 70 percent of his passes with 1,218 yards and 16 touchdowns.
This Friday, Nussmeier leads 4-0 Marcus High against the Plano Wildcats.
Both Kiner and Nussmeier committed to LSU back in May.
