Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo each scored 22 points and Kelly Olynyk added 20 points to help lead the Miami Heat to a 125-105 win on Saturday in the season restart opener against the Denver Nuggets.
Heat guard Kendrick Nunn chipped in 11 points, two rebounds and two assists in 20 minutes of work. After struggling to shoot in scrimmage play, Nunn made 5-of-7 attempts from the field and appeared to be more comfortable playing.
Fellow Heat rookie Tyler Herro added seven points, five rebounds and two assists in 20 minutes off of the bench. Herro shot 3-of-7 from the field but continued to struggle from 3-point range, converting on 1-of-4 shots after shooting just 15% from beyond the arc in three scrimmage games.

The Heat improved to 42-24 in the Eastern Conference to come within a game and a half of the Boston Celtics in third place. Overall, the Heat picked up where they left off in March and showed no signs of any fatigue or weakness in the contest.
